Working in partnership with Four Housing Group and Ashdown Architects, we have delivered 15 new affordable houses in Sheriff Hill Gateshead.
The houses are located on the former church site of Our Lady of Annunciation and comprise thirteen two-bedroom family properties and two three-bedroom family properties.

We have completed the construction of 12 Apartments for Bomarsund Housing Co-op in Seghill, Northumberland.
The devlopment has taken 12 months to complete, working in close collaboration with the Client Bomarsund Housing Co-op and Anthony Watson Chartered Architects. The Client was keen to promote and maintain their high standard of housing stock and this has been reflected in the quality of this new development.
Framework Agreement
May 2013
Able Construction (Northern) Ltd is pleased we have signed a Framework Agreement with Northumbrian Water Ltd.
The partnership will give Able Construction (Northern) Ltd the opportunity to undertake general buildings repair and refurbishment contracts and civils works for Northumbrian Water across the North East region.
The agreement is for an initial 3 year period with the option of that being extended for a further 2 years and we are looking forward to working with Northumbrian Water in the near future.

New Contract

Able Construction (Northern) Ltd have secured the contract to undertake the Design & Build of 5 new bungalows for Durham Aged Mineworkers Homes in Consett, County Durham.
Having completed various developments with Durham Aged Mineworkers Homes we are extremely pleased to have once again won this contract after our successful competive tender submission. The ground works will commence immediately in January 2014 with a target completion of October 2014.
LABC - Business Excellence Awards 2014
July 2014
Our new build Vicarage in Hartlepool has been nominated in the best invidual new home category of the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2014. Designed by Ashdown Architects Ltd and constructed for the Diocese of Durham, the home was completed to a high design specification.
New Contract
May 2015
Able Construction (Northern) Ltd have secured the contract to undertake the Design & Build of 18 new apartments for Isos Housing in South Shields.
The apartments have been designed by Anthony Watson Chartered Architects and consist of a mix of 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units, over 3 storeys. Work has commenced on site already and the development is due for completion early 2016.
