Able Construction (Northern) Limited was established in1987 and became a Private Limited Company in 1998. With a Gateshead based head office we are ideally placed to cover the whole North East from Teesside to Northumberland.
We have extensive experience in the construction industry. With a firm commitment to high standards and personal service, our company has steadily grown, providing a history of successfully completed contracts and satisfied clients. We employ around 40 people, including Contracts Managers, Office Staff and Tradesmen.
Principle areas of business we undertake are General Construction and Design and Build projects for a variety of Public and Private sector clients. We have completed many projects in schools, education facilities, libraries, nurseries and public buildings with Newcastle, Gateshead, South Tyneside, Sunderland and County Durham Local Authorities.

Our clients come from both the Private and Public sector and the company is an approved Local Authority Contractor. This range of clients means involvement in New Build work as well as Alteration and Renovation projects in many market sectors, including Health, Education, Residential, Industrial and Commercial.
Our excellent reputation amongst clients, architects, quantity surveyors and other construction professionals is not simply based on our high quality workmanship. People also appreciate the effort we make to be involved in every aspect of a project to ensure it progresses successfully.
